I made a mistake - not a miserable one, but my Computer complained.

I installed some extra Fonts - ok, to be honest, it was a Number with four digits =) The installation Process went well, took a while but everything was good.

Shut the Mac down, slept and after waking up - turned it back on. Not good! In Mail for example all the fonts were changed, not to the good! Before I could see that, I had to wait for ages for the Computer to be ready…

If that sounds somehow familiar to you - here is the fastest way i figured out to get rid of the problem.

First of all restart your computer, dont start any program except “Font Book” (Schriftsammlung auf Deutsch).

Deactivate all Fonts in the User section - you cannot harm anything, can’t disable system fonts anyway.

After another restart (just to be sure) everything should be alright again - no go back, think ad activate only what you need =)
